how fomoscore rates a trader

fomoscore looks at a trader's PnL and habits and tells you what kind of trader they really are: a grade from A to F, an archetype, and the numbers behind them. It rates traders, not coins, and it never tells anyone what to buy.

Not financial advice. A grade describes past and open trades at one moment. It says nothing about what a coin or a trader will do next.

Rate a trader

  1. Open Rate any trader on the home page.
  2. Type a fomo username (@unipcs, unipcs or a fomo.family/profile link) or paste a Solana wallet address. Anyone's works, not just yours.
  3. Press Judge me. fomoscore shows the grade, the archetype and the stats.
  4. Press Copy my verdict to share the result on fomo or X.

Nothing to sign, no wallet connect, no account. fomoscore only reads public data.

Username or wallet? Use the username for fomo traders. fomo trades run through fomo's own wallets on several chains, so a personal Solana wallet usually shows no fomo trades at all. For a username fomoscore reads fomo's position data (see fomo data); for a wallet, its last 100 Solana transactions.

Ask on X

Mention @fomoscore with a fomo username or a fomo.family profile link, like @fomoscore unipcs. Without a username, fomoscore rates the fomo account with the same name as your X handle. It answers in the replies with the same grade the site gives, and the trader shows up on the live board.

@fomoscore grade my fomo profile pls

grade B · the quiet winner
• +$1,420 unrealized on open bags
• 58% of positions in profit

up $1,420 on open bags without doing anything stupid. boring. good.

Example reply format. The numbers above are illustrative.

fomo data

A fomo trader trades across several chains (Solana, BSC, Base and more), so fomoscore can't read them from one wallet. Instead it uses fomo's own trading data through the fomo data API. fomoscore's server holds the API key; it never reaches the browser.

Wallets

For a wallet, everything comes from the public Solana blockchain through a public RPC node. fomoscore loads its last 100 transactions and keeps the ones that look like a swap:

SOL down and a token up is a buy; token down and SOL up is a sell. The SOL amount includes network fees and tips, the way your balance actually feels them. Coins still held are priced on DexScreener to get the unrealized PnL; a coin with no market left counts as worth $0.

Metrics

MetricHow it's calculated
Unrealized PnLFor every position still open: what it's worth now minus what was paid for it. Summed in US dollars. This is the number fomoscore grades.
Realized PnLFor each closed position: what the sells brought in minus the cost of the part that was sold. Shown next to unrealized, but not graded.
Win rateShare of positions in profit: open ones by unrealized PnL, closed ones by realized PnL.
Median holdMedian time from entry to exit (or to now, for open positions).
Swaps per dayWallets: swaps divided by the days between the first and the last swap (at least one day).
Bags never soldCoins bought and not sold at all. For a fomo username, its open positions.
Late-night shareWallets only: share of swaps made between midnight and 5am in the viewer's local time, counted only when the swaps cover at least 24 hours.
Revenge buysWallets only: buys within one hour after a sell that closed at a loss, sized more than 1.5× the wallet's median buy.

The grade

The grade follows PnL in dollars and nothing else, so more profit never means a lower grade. fomoscore grades the unrealized PnL on open bags; if nothing is open, the realized PnL. On the leaderboard it grades fomo's 24h PnL, the column the leaderboard is sorted by.

A$100K+A−$25K+B+$5K+B$1K+B−$100+ C+above $0Cdown up to $100C−down up to $1KDdown up to $10KFdown more

With fewer than 5 swaps on a wallet (or fewer than 3 trades for a username) there is nothing to judge: the grade is ? and the archetype is the tourist.

Archetypes

The archetype describes the habit behind the number and doesn't change the grade. It's the first one in this list that fits.

ArchetypeWhen
the touristToo few trades to judge.
the revenge traderTwo or more revenge buys.
the 3am aper35% or more of swaps between midnight and 5am.
the bag collectorDown on open bags, and half or more of the coins were never sold.
the machine gunner40 or more trades a day (on the leaderboard: 3,000+ trades on fomo).
the sniperUp, with a median hold under 5 minutes and a win rate of 55% or more (on the leaderboard: 24h PnL above a fifth of lifetime volume).
the diamond handUp, with a median hold over 6 hours (on the leaderboard: more unrealized PnL than 24h PnL).
the home-run hitterUp, though fewer than 45% of positions are green.
the bag holderLeaderboard only: up today, but the open holdings are down.
the quiet winnerUp $5 or more.
the treadmill runnerWithin $5 of even.
the exit liquidityEverything else: down.

Limits

Privacy

fomoscore works with public data only. It never asks for a signature, a seed phrase or a wallet connection, and it doesn't store the addresses you paste. The site runs in your browser: no account, no cookies for tracking.

The leaderboard, the live verdict and the X thread on the home page show real public fomo profiles from fomo's 24h leaderboard. A username you check appears on the live board for everyone to see, with its grade and public numbers. Wallet checks run only in your browser and aren't shown anywhere.

FAQ

Is this financial advice?

No. fomoscore describes how a trader is doing. It never says buy or sell.

Why is my grade “?”

fomoscore found too few trades to judge. If you trade on fomo, type your fomo username instead of a wallet.

Can I rate someone else's wallet?

Yes. fomo profiles and Solana wallets are public, so anyone can be rated.

Does fomoscore see my fomo account?

No. fomoscore only sees public trading data. It can't log in, trade or read anything private.

My grade changed. Why?

The grade follows unrealized PnL, which moves with prices. A pump on a bag you hold raises it, a dump lowers it.

Which chain is supported?

For fomo usernames, every chain fomo trades on. For wallets, Solana: swaps against SOL and wrapped SOL are counted.
